Resumo: Este trabalho analisa as diferentes estratégias referenciais utilizadas em textos com a temática moda da revista Select e descreve as funcionalidades dessas estratégias. Para alcançar tais objetivos, utilizou-se como referencial teórico os pressupostos da perspectiva funcionalista e os da Linguística Textual, devido ao fato de o Funcionalismo considerar a linguagem o instrumento que possibilita ao usuário da língua a concretização de seus propósitos comunicativos, além de considerar os aspectos da língua em uso, atribuindo-lhe o caráter de atividade social e de ferramenta de interação. Quanto à Linguística Textual, evidencia-se o fato de essa perspectiva teórica dedicar-se a estudar não só os princípios que constituem o texto e os fatores que envolvem a produção e a recepção desse texto, mas também se voltar para o processo interacional estabelecido entre o autor, o leitor e o texto, demonstrando que essa interação ocorre mediante determinado contexto/cotexto. Ademais, a Linguística Textual acredita que a competência textual do falante permite que ele seja capaz de produzir textos coerentes e não apenas um amontoado de frases e palavras. Nesse âmbito, verificam-se como as escolhas linguísticas dos autores dos textos selecionam os possíveis leitores desses textos e como essas escolhas podem gerar possíveis direcionamentos na interpretação. O corpus desta pesquisa constitui-se de dezesseis artigos e quatro editoriais, publicados na revista Select entre os meses de agosto de 2013 e de maio de 2014. Em um primeiro momento, efetivou-se a coleta e seleção dos textos, os quais, posteriormente, foram estudados mediante uma análise quantitativo-qualitativa, a fim de evidenciar as estratégias referenciais mais utilizadas e como elas podem conduzir a interpretação dos leitores. Esses dados coletados são apresentados, objetivamente, em quadros que aparecem logo após as análises desenvolvidas. Por meio da análise quantitativa, verificou-se, a grande utilização de meronímias (34 nos artigos e 33 nos editoriais), anáforas indiretas (30 ocorrências nos artigos e 19 nos editoriais), pronomes (55 utilizações nos artigos e 34 nos editoriais) e anáforas encapsuladoras (28 nos artigos e 23 nos editoriais), sendo que esses processos recategorizam informações precedentes ou subsequentes e, por esse motivo, podem mostrar/influenciar opiniões. A análise qualitativa permitiu demonstrar que os processos referenciais contabilizados contribuem com o processo de referenciação, uma vez que, segundo Mondada e Dubois (2003), possibilitam a reconstrução dos objetos-de-discurso no momento da enunciação.
Abstract: This dissertation analyze the different reference strategies used in texts with fashion theme of the Select magazine and describes the functionalists of this strategies. To reach this descriptions and analyzes, it make use of the theoretical reference assumed on the functionalist perspective and Textual Linguistics, due to the fact that the Functionalism considers the language a instrument which delivers the user a execution of its communicative purposes, besides of to consider the aspects of the used language, assign to it the character of social activity and a tool of interaction. Whatever the Textual Linguistic, become evident the fact of this theoretical perspective which dedicates to study not just the principles that construct the text and the factors which involve the production and the reception of this text, but also to return to the interaction process established between the author, the reader and the text, showing that this interaction occurs in certain context. Before, the Textual Linguistic believes that the textual ability of the speaker allows that he is capable to produce coherent texts and not just a pile of phrases and words. On this side, verifies like the linguistic choices of its authors select the possibles readers of this texts and how this choices could generate possibles directions of interpretation. The corpus of this research structures in sixteen articles and four editorials published on Select magazine among the months of august of 2013 and may of 2014. In a first moment, it was executed the collection and the selection of the texts, which ones, forward, were studied by quantity-quality analyze, to ensure what are the referential strategies most used and how they could conduct the interpretation of the readers. This collected data are showed, objectively, in boxes that appear soon after the development of the analyzes. In between of the quantity analyze, it have showed until now, a big utilization of meronymies (34 in the articles and 33 in the editorials), indirect anaphoras (30 occurrence in the articles and 19 in the editorials), pronouns (55 uses in the articles and 34 in the editorials) and encapsulating anaphoras (28 in the articles and 23 in the editorials), been that the last one is a referential process which re categorize precedent or subsequent information and, for this reason, could show/influence opinions. The quantity analyze allowed to demonstrated that the accounted referential process contribute with the referral process, once that, according to Mondada and Dubois (2003), enables the reconstruction of speech-objects in the moment of enunciation. |
